A Famidi Naan Card connects a household with a participating local bakery for a defined period of daily bread. In the current model, one card represents seven fresh naans per day for 30 days.
The card is part of a relationship
The physical card makes the arrangement recognizable, but the program also depends on coordination with the bakery and household. The bakery must know the terms, the household must be able to reach it, and the daily commitment must be funded.
Why the terms are specific
A clear quantity and time period help everyone understand the promise: donor, coordinator, bakery, and household. Specific terms also make follow-up more meaningful than an open-ended claim that bread was “provided.”
Can the card be transferred?
A field story from May 2026 records one recipient choosing to pass his card to someone he believed needed it more. That story shows personal agency, but it should not be read as a universal transfer policy. Current operational questions should be confirmed with Famidi.
